John Easterling, the husband of singer and actress Olivia Newton-John, revealed the Grease actress died at the age of 73 on August 8, 2022, at their ranch in Southern California. No cause of death was revealed, but the actress has fought breast cancer since 1992.

Olivia Newton-John was born Dame Olivia Newton-John on September 26, 1948, in Cambridge, England, the daughter of German/ Welsh parents, Irene and Brinley Newton-John. Irene Helene was a German immigrant whose great-grandparents escaped the Nazis; her dad Brinley “Brin” Newton-John was an MI5 officer during World War II, responsible for capturing Rudolph Hess, a German politician and a leading member of the Nazi army.
Her parents, along with her and her two siblings, Hugh and Rona, moved to Australia in 1954.
