Caryn Zucker has been known as the loving and supportive wife of CNN’s president, Jeff Zucker –however things might soon change.
Caryn’s husband, well known as a TV executive, and his wife of many years have decided to split. According to reports the couple confirmed the news saying their marriage is over.
Jeff, a Harvard graduate became president of NBC Entertainment in 2000 and took over as the president of CNN Worldwide in 2013. In his current role, Jeff oversees CNN, CNN International, HLN, and CNN Digital. He was also an executive in residence at Columbia Business School.
The 52-year-old has five Emmy Awards under his belt, his success cetinaly can’t be denied; however, it appears it can’t be translated to his personal life with reports saying he and Caryn have been having problems for a decade now. Meet the lovely soon-to-be ex-wife, below.
#1 She is a New Yorker
Caryn Stephanie Nathanson was born to parents Ellen and Carl Nathanson. Her father served as director of the legal services plan for District Council 37 of the Municipal Employees Union in New York. Her mother owned a community-reinvestment consulting company that bears her name in New York.

Caryn Zucker attended graduated from Sarah Lawrence College.
#3 Caryn met Jeff Zucker while working together
The couple met while both were working at NBC, when he was executive producer of NBC’s “Today” show and Caryn was a supervisor at “Saturday Night Live.”
Aside from SNL, Caryn Zucker is known as a New York community leader and philanthropist. She also serves as director of the Fresh Air Fund and was previously the director of 92nd Street Y.
#4 They had a lavish ceremony
According to the NY Times wedding announcement, they were married in a lavish ceremony at the Pierre Hotel in 1996. . Rabbi Amy Ehrlich performed the ceremony.
#5 She is a mother of four
During their marriage Caryn and Jeff welcomed four children, three sons and one daughter: Peter, Andrew, William and Elizabeth.
#6 She remained by his side during his cancer diagnosis
When Jeff was 31, three months after his marriage to Caryn, he was diagnosed with colon cancer. Three years later the cancer returned and doctors had to take out as much of his colon as possible. With so much of the organ removed, Zucker suffers from chronic dehydration, which causes bouts of kidney stones and gout.

Caryn’s brother is Michael Nathanson, an analyst who spent twelve years covering, at various times, U.S. Media, European Media, and Global Advertising Agencies. He joined Moffett Research LLC in 2013.
