Taylor Simone Ledward is the lovely wife of late actor, Chadwick Boseman -well known for his numerous roles including Marvel’s Black Panther.

Taylor’s husband who died in August of 2020, was posthumously awarded a Golden Globe for best performance by an actor in a drama for his role in “Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom.”
Boseman who was 43, at the time of his shocking death of cancer, was also a director, writer, producer. He had been diagnosed with stage III colon cancer in 2016.

1. She and Chadwick Boseman were married months before his ultimate death

Though is not clear exactly when or how the couple met, Taylor Simone Ledward and Chadwick Boseman became husband and wife in 2020. Some sources they began dating in 2015.
The two kept their romance under wraps, however, they were pictured in public attending basketball games and hitting the town, a number of times.
The couple became engaged in 2019 and were married privately months before he died.

She gained significant attention since it became apparent she and Boseman had a thing.
Taylor Simone Ledward was born, August 31, 1990. Ledward graduated from California State Polytechnic University (Cal Poly), Pomona in 2014. She has a bachelor’s degree in music industry studies.
In addition, she has an associate’s degree in Sociology.

3. Boseman thanked her during a speech

During his acceptance speech for winning Outstanding Actor in a Motion Picture at the 2019 NAACP Image Awards, Boseman said, “Simone, you’re with me every day. I have to acknowledge you right now. Love you.” Taylor was caught on camera in the crowd mouthing the words “I love you” back to Boseman.

4. She is originally from California

The stunner lived for a while in New York, that said, Taylor Simone Ledward grew up in Vallejo, California. Though there isn’t much info available on her family, sources say she has a younger sister named India. It was also her grandmother who apparently spilled the beans during an interviw saying the couple ‘is very happy.’

5. She isn’t a fan of social media

Though Taylor is described as a singer and is believed that she’s been involved with music for several years, she’s never released any music of her own. She used to be active on several musical platforms but has since deleted her accounts.
