Born February 24, 1942; the Stamford, Connecticut native, received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Economics and his Juris Doctorate degree from Yale University.
Joe, a lobbyist and attorney is best known for his time as a Senator from Connecticut. Before being elected to the Senate in 1988, Senator Lieberman served as an Attorney General of the State of Connecticut from 1983 1988 and as a State Senator for 10 years before that. Senator Lieberman served 24 years in the U.S. Senate, retiring in January 2013. Joe was also the first Jewish vice presidential candidate.

Hadassah Lieberman was born Hadassah Freilich on March 28, 1948; the Prague-born is the daughter of Holocaust survivor parents, Samuel and Ella Wieder Freilich. When Hadassah was a small child, the family fled to the United States and settled in Gardner, Mass.

After her parents settled in Massachusetts, she attended Boston University –where she obtained a BA in Government and Dramatics. She also studied a Master in International Relations from Northeastern University.

She also directed HFL & Associates, an independent consulting firm dedicated to expanding domestic and international awareness of non-profit organizations.
