Kameron Cline was a coal heiress who died along her billionaire father Christopher Cline in a helicopter crash.
Kameron’s father was a coal tycoon and philanthropist, known for reviving Illinois’s mining industry. Kameron and her father were killed along along five others after the helicopter crashed off the coast of the Bahamas as it was flying back to the United States.
The helicopter had seven people aboard, all of whom died, according to CBS News. The victims included three men and four women, according to the Associated Press.

Kameron’s father was married twice. He lost his first wife and remarried Kelly, Kmaeron’s mother in 1993. This was his second marriage, according to the Register-Herald. From his second marriage he fathered Alex, Christopher and Kameron. Chris Cline is also the father of daughter Candice from his first marriage.
#2 Her parents ended in divorce
Chris’s first wife was named Sabrina, she died of cancer in 1987. His second wife was named Kelly, and they were married from 1993 to 2000. Her mother now goes by Kelly Cline Fama.
#3 Kameron’s father founded the Cline Group
Chris Cline, a native of Beckley, West Virginia, began working in the state’s coal mines at age 22, and later bet big on high-sulfur coal reserves in Illinois.
He later founded the Cline Group and Foresight Energy, both in the mining and energy industries. In 2015, he sold a stake in the latter for $1.4 billion, according to Forbes.
#4 She was killed in a helicopter crash whit her father
Kameron was among the seven victims on the submerged aircraft, which was discovered overturned two miles off his private island, news station KFSN reported. Reports said the crash occurred Thursday as the billionaire Cline’s helicopter traveled near Big Grand Cay island in the Bahamas.
#5 The crash occurred one day before her father’s 61st birthday
Chris woul’ve turned 61 on Friday, July 5th. The group had set out for Florida because of a possible illness of someone on board, according to the Beckley Register-Herald, citing friends’ accounts.
#6 Her father is remembered as a giving man
Chris was a coal industry billionaire, Republican donor and philanthropist. He was a major donor to leading Republican politicians, including former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio and President Donald Trump, the Times reported.
Cline also donated extensively to his alma mater Marshall University. Supreme Court Justice Evan Jenkins wrote about Cline “His selfless and generous support for programs and projects throughout the state improved the lives of countless West Virginians”

According to her social media Kameron enjoyed wakeboarding. The blonde listed herslef as being from Beckley, West Virginia but was a resident of West Palm Beach, Florida.

Kameron Cline went to The Benjamin School. She was also a 2019 graduate of LSU and was in a sorority. Kameron was listed as a member of the LSU Phi Mu sorority.
#9 Two of her friends were also killed in the crash
Jillian Clark has been named as one of the seven people killed in the Thursday helicopter crash involving billionaire Chris Cline. Clark was a Kenner native who attended Mount Carmel Academy in New Orleans and was listed as a 2019 LSU graduate. She and Kameron were both members of the LSU Phi Mu sorority.
Brittney Searson, another sorority sister, was also on the fatal flight.
