Julia Salazar
Julia Salazar, the New York senate candidate who is known for lying about her own life is now claiming to be a victim of sexual assault.
Salazar born December 31, 1990; is a Miami, Florida native who appeared in the political radar as a Democratic Socialist state senate candidate billed as a rising star in the vein of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
However, the 27-year-old has been facing a number of scandals including an arrest back in 2011 for impersonating Keith Hernandez’s wife (Kai) in order to commit bank fraud.
She’s also had to face questions about her Jewish identity, for having misled voters about whether she was an immigrant, for her anti-abortion and pro-Israel activism and her very brief stint as a Republican.
Julia’s parents divorced when she was seven-years-old and though the family did struggled as confirmed by her own mother, her brother Alex Salazar did not appreciate the picture she painted about their upbringing. She claimed to be a “proud immigrant” from Colombia and grew up in an economically distressed, working-class family.
Word about Salazar being dishonest and untrustworthy began to circle and it didn’t help that she also misled reporters about being an immigrant. Her politics had shifted to the left from so right-wing; and it was also reported she appeared on Glenn Beck’s show as a college student to vent about anti-Israel sentiment on campus.
In her most recent antic, Salazar tweeted that she was about to be outed as a sexual assault survivor. As it turns out she claims that David Keyes, the spokesperson for Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu –sexually assaulted her. Should we believe her?
Julia Salazar –who is believed to be currently single –is running for senate in District 18, according to her website, she has worked “with her neighbors to fight for their legal right to safe housing to demanding criminal justice reforms at the city and state levels, Julia has been at the forefront of campaigns for social justice in New York.”
