Toby Cooperman
Toby Cooperman is the longtime wife of billionaire investor and philanthropist, Leon Cooperman -widely known as Lee Cooperman.
Toby’s husband is regarded as a Wall Street legend, the 76-year-old is worth, according to Forbes, over $3 billion.
Born Leon G. Cooperman on April 25, 1943; to a plumber father from the Bronx, Cooperman went to public schools, Hunter College and then got an MBA from Columbia University.
He built up Goldman Sachs’ asset management division, GSAM, in his quarter century with the investment bank. Cooperman founded Omega Advisors in 1991, a hedge fund known for strong performance; he shut down the fund at the end of 2018.
He is happily married to wife, Toby.

Michael Cooperman is the Director of Freshwater Fish and Fisheries. He is a fish ecologist with a MS degree in the ecology of river-floodplain systems from the University of Montana and a Ph.D., from Oregon State University.
Toby also has three grandchildren, Courtney, Kyra, and Asher.
