Meet Nancy Putkoski & Ottavia Busia; these two beautiful ladies were at one point in their lives the ex-wives of the famous chef Anthony Bourdain, who killed himself by hanging in his hotel room in France, on June 8, 2018, he was 61.

- Anthony Bourdain’s first ex-wife, was, as a matter of fact, his high school sweetheart. They met and started dating while attending Dwight-Englewood school.
- She and Tony tied the knot in 1985, they lived in New York, however, Nancy found living by herself following her husband’s success.
- Barely seeing each other, eventually destroyed their marriage and by 2005, after two decades together they decided to separate and later divorced.
- Nancy Anne Putkoski, was born on April 8, 1955, in New Jersey. She continues to reside in New York.
- Mrs. Putkoski and Bourdain didn’t have any children; she never remarried.
Ottavia Busia
- Ottavia Busia hails from a small town in Lombardy, Italy; she made the move to the U.S in the early 2000’s when she began working in the restaurant industry. According to the marriedtoachef blog, she held various positions in restaurants like Sette Moma, Café des Artistes, Le Bernardin, Orsay, Serafina, Geisha.
- The two tied the knot on April 20, 2007 –within weeks after their first date. Ottavia and Anthony Bourdain were set up by famed chef, Eric Ripert. They bonded over their love of the restaurant industry and Brazilian jujitsu. Bourdain was a blue belt while Busia is an avid practitioner of Mixed Martial Arts.
- The couple welcomed their first and only child also in 2007. Ottavia Busia gave birth to daughter, Ariane Bourdain. Ariane is Bourdain’s first and only child, the same goes for Ottavia Busia.
- Like his first marriage, his union to Busia also ended in divorce in 2016, nine years later after becoming husband and wife. They had an amicable separation.
- Following their divorce, Bourdain and Busia stayed friends, keeping a close relationship in order to co-parent their daughter. Ariane currently lives in NY with her mother.
