Lilian Tintori
Lilian Tintori is the lovely and proud wife of Venezuelan opposition leader, Leopoldo Lopez –who has been set free by the military.
Lilian’s husband is a well-known figure in their native country. The 48-year-old activist and former Mayor of Chacao was imprisoned back in 2014 on charges of inciting anti-government protests against the government of Nicolas Maduro.
In 2014, he turned himself in after at least three people are killed during an anti-government protest in Caracas. Authorities claim he is responsible for the violence. He is charged with conspiracy, murder, and terrorism.

Lilian Tintori was born on May 5, 1978; in Caracas, Venezuela. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in preschool education and a minor in Political Communications. Mrs. Tintori is a certified speaker from the Central University of Venezuela.

Lilian who is the 2003 Kitesurfing National Champion, founded the Porkite Foundation, created to provide kitesurfing gear to unprivileged national kitesurfers. In addition she runs marathons and enjoys keeping fit.

Lilian got married to Mr. Lopez in April 2007; when he became the mayor in Chacao. When she took the role as Chacao’s first lady, she started working with the people to protect their families, promote sports, education, and culture.

Since their nuptials, Lilian and Leopoldo have welcomed three adorable children: daughter Manuela –who was born in 2009; and son, Leopoldo Santiago, born in 2013. The couple also welcomed a third child, a daughter named Federica, born in 2018.
