Candice Pool is the beautiful wife of YouTube star, writer and director, Casey Neistat –known for creating his own media company and starring his own HBO series.

Recent reports say Candice’s hubby parted ways with CNN after having sold its media app Beme in 2016 for about $25 million. Casey co-founded Beme in the summer of 2015.

The 36-year-old Connecticut native created his popular self-titled YouTube channel in 2010. Neistat and his brother Van are entirely self-taught when it comes to filmmaking. As a writer and director he released dozens of short films exclusively on the internet.

He attained commercial success with an HBO show (“The Neistat Brothers”) and producing a successful indie film (“Daddy Longlegs”). Now his YouTube films get millions of hits and he makes short films for brands.

Before he blew up on YouTube, Casey had a number of jobs to support himself including, dishwashing in a seafood restaurant and he was also a bike messenger in New York City.

Candice Pool was actually born on October 19, 1977, in Cape Town, South Africa and was raised in Texas before eventually moving to New York.

The couple first became married in 2005, after they eloped to Houston, Texas. The marriage didn’t last long and was annulled a month later. Eight years later, the two somehow became engaged again after he popped the question on a bridge in Amsterdam. They were married for a second time On December 29, 2013, in Cape Town, South Africa.

#3 She is a mother and stepmother

The couple welcomed daughter, Francine in 2014. Her hubby is also the father of a son, Owen born when Casey was 17-years-old –making Candice Pool Owen’s stepmother.

#4 She is an award-winning jewelry designer

She founded her own jewelry company in 2006 and currently serves as the Creative director and jewelry designer for FINN Jewelry.  She has also appeared in many of her husband’s videos.
