Jane Fallon is the lovely girlfriend English actor/comedian Ricky Gervais -who most recently hosted the 2020 Golden Globes Awards.
Jane’s beau certinaly made heads turn during the Globes but it was kind of what you would expect from the controversial 58-year-old who has hosted the awards for the fifth and final time.

#1 She comes from a big family
Jane is one of seven children, she grew up in Harrow in North London above her parents’ newsagent’s shop. After Harrow, Fallon’s family moved to Buckinghamshire. There, she attended St. Bernard’s Concent Scool in Slough and eventually, University College, where she met Gervais.
#2 Jane Fallon isn’t only a pretty face
The British born is a well known author, Jane has penned nine best-selling novels, including Getting Rid of Matthew, Got You Back, Foursome, The Ugly Sister, Skeletons, Strictly Between Us, My Sweet Revenge, Faking Friends and most recently Tell Me A Secret -which was released in 2019. Her books have sold over a million copies in the UK.
#3 The blonde is also known for her work as a producer
Jane actually began her career on TV as a freelance script reader and later as a script editor until transitioning to television producer. She worked on a number of hit series, like Teachers, 20 Things To Do Before You’re 30, EastEnders, and This Life. Her most recent IMDB credit came in 2006, as an executive producer on the TV show Teachers.
#4 Fallon has been by Gervais side since the 80’s
Though the couple has been together since 1982, Jane Fallon and Ricky Gervais are not husband and wife. She’s also been vocal about her desicion not to be a mother writing for The Guardian, “being a mother wasn’t who I was meant to be.”
#5 The first person to read her books is her best friend
Jane Fallon told Hello! in 2018 “My best friend is fantastic because she’s the only person I let read my books before I hand them into my editor and the only reason I give them to her is I know she’ll say ‘oh my god it’s brilliant’, she will never say anything critical whatever she’s thinking, and that’s what i need at that point, before I then give it in and obviously get criticism. She’s my biggest cheerleader and I’m hers and that’s important.”
