You can describe Frances Haugen as a former Facebook employee, a heroine; and the Facebook whistleblower who will testify before the U.S Senate Subcommittee on product safety, data security, and consumer protection after she revealed documents to the Wall Street Journal.

Frances Haugen Bio Facts

• 37-year-old Frances Haugen the daughter of two educators was born and raised in Iowa City, Iowa. She holds a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Olin College and a MBA from Harvard.
• She was a debater at Iowa City West High School and a teaching assistant at Olin College, before founding and co-e4diting the Olin College Yearbook.
• In October 2006, Frances joined Google as an associate product manager; two years later she became product manager and software engineer in October 2009.
• Subsequently, in February 2011, co-founded the dating app called Hinge. From April 2015 to August 2016, was a product manager at Yelp.
• After Yelp, she was hired as a product manager at Pinterest; later on,  held the same position at Facebook since June 2019.
