We have been hearing a rumor about Mozilla possibly hiring Marc Andreessen as CEO following  Brendan Eich’s departure, and with that said we wonder who Marc Andreessen married to? or dating? Andreessen is in fact married to Laura Arrillaga aka Laura Arillaga Andreessen.

Marc’s wife Laura is the daughter of philanthropists John and Frances Marion Cook Arrillaga who passed away  in October, 1995 after a 18-month battle with lung cancer at the age of 54. Meet Eleanor Eich is the wife of Brendan Eich, the co-founder of mozilla.org who served as CEO for Mozilla. He is widely known for his contributions to the evolution of the Web, including inventing JavaScript and spearheading its ongoing standardization and evolution.

Her very bright husband created JavaScript in 1995, internet’s most widely used programming language. Eich became the god of programming for all those back in the day.

He also co-founded the mozilla.org project in 1998, serving as chief architect. Eich helped launch the award winning Firefox web browser back in November 2004 and Thunderbird e-mail client the following month. He holds a bachelor of science in math and computer science from Santa Clara University and a master of science in computer science from the University of Illinois.

But we where shocked to learn reports of her husband, Brendan Eich has stepped down as CEO of Firefox-maker Mozilla Corporation – after it emerged he controversially backed a ballot measure that outlawed same-sex marriage in California. Eleanor’s husband not only not only decided to step down as CEO, he has quit Mozilla outright.

Eich’s appointment as Mozilla’s chief exec spurred outrage among gay rights supporters after public records revealed that he contributed $1,000 to the campaign in support of Proposition 8, a divisive 2008 California ballot initiative that enshrined “one man, one woman” as the standard for marriage in the state’s constitution.

Although the bill was eventually struck down as unconstitutional under federal law, Eich’s support for it was seen as antithetical to Mozilla’s progressive public ethos, leading to calls for a boycott of the group’s Firefox web browser.

In an interview with the Guardian newspaper on Wednesday, Eich, a Mozilla cofounder, said his political beliefs were “personal” and that he had “kept them out of Mozilla all these 15 years we’ve been going.”

Mozilla cofounder and executive chairwoman Mitchell Baker wrote that Eich’s decision was voluntary and that he made it “for Mozilla and our community.” But on her March 29 blog, she clearly appears to clash with the views of Eleanor’s hubby

“Mozilla supports equality for all, explicitly including LGBT equality and marriage equality.” She wrote.

Eleanor and Brendan have an under-the-radar lifestyle. Although her husband is widely recognized for his enduring contributions to the internet revolution, not much information is found about her, what we do know is that she is in her early 60’s and she has lived in Santa Clara, CA and Los Gatos, CA. Eleanor is also the mother of the couple’s five children.

Laura Blankfein- Goldman Sachs CEO Lloyd Blankfein’s Wife

Lloyd Blankfein and Laura Jacobs were married on June 19, 1983. Their wedding was announced in the New York Post by her parents on May 15 of 1983. Here’s what it said:

“Mr. and Mrs. Norman S. Jacobs of New York have made known the engagement of their daughter, Laura Susan Jacobs, to Lloyd Craig Blankfein, son of Mr. and Mrs. Seymour Blankfein of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.  The future bride is an associate with the New York law firm of Phillips, Nizer, Benjamin, Krim & Ballon. She graduated from the Fieldston School and magna cum laude from Barnard College, and received her law degree from Georgetown University.  Mr. Blankfein is a trader of precious metals with J. Aron & Company, the commodities trading division of Goldman Sachs & Company in New York. He graduated from Harvard College and Harvard Law School.”

Not bad for a guy who sold hot dogs at Yankee Stadium for cash when he was in school!

A couple of years earlier, he was a tax lawyer, but had been wanting to go into the financial world. When Blankfein told his then fiancée, Laura Jacobs, that he was leaving law to go to J. Aron, she cried, thinking the comfortable life she was counting on would now be jeopardized. He did anyway and began to work on gold bullion sales desk, to trade commodities. Well, we know the rest of that story!

He and Laura have three children, Alexander, who recently got married, Jonathan and daughter Rachel. Both sons graduated from Harvard, and Rachel is now a student there.

Laura and Lloyd reside in New York on the Upper East Side, but also have homes in Bridgehampton and in Sagaponak. Nice to be rich…

Well, now husband Lloyd is looking to incentivate some economic growth in Detroit through loans as well as business support from Goldman Sachs in the 10,000 small business program. We hope that this experiment pans out well for everyone.

Shelley McMillon- Wal-Mart’ CEO Doug McMillon’s Wife

Meet Shelley McMillon, she is the beautiful and talent wife of Doug McMillon who was recently replacing Mike Duke as Wal-Mart’s chief Executive Officer.

Next February Shelley McMillon’s husband will take over for Mr. Duke as Wal-Mart’s new CEO, it seems only yesterday Doug was taking a summer job at Wal-Mart in 1984 and today he gained a position  in the board’s executive committee where Mike Duke will stay on as chairman.

Doug McMillon, 47, from Jonesboro, AR, graduated from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) in Accounting. He received an M.B.A in Finance at the University of Tulsa.

Elisa Lipsky-Karasz- Page Six’s Own Deputy Editor Ian Mohr’s Wife

We have just read the happy news from Page Six deputy editor Ian Mohr and his wife Elisa Lipsky Karasz. Congratulations on the birth of beautiful bouncing baby boy Arthur.

Elisa Lipsky Karasz graduated from Princeton with a degree in Journalism in 2000. She has risen through the ranks, and her first big thing was working for Women Wear Daily and W magazine. She also wrote for the New York Daily News and the New York Post. She landed a job at Harper’s Bazar, but in November 0f 2012, just a few weeks after being promoted to features director, she was offered the job as Wall Street Journal fashion news and features director. She is also a great interviewer. She and Ian were married on November 14, 2009.

Arthur Edward de Pallieres Mohr was born last Friday, November 15, at Mount Sinai Hospital on the Upper East Side, at noon. Even though it was a day late, great anniversary present for this happy couple! This big boy weighed in at nine pounds eight ounces, and we are told that mother and baby are doing well.

Again, congratulations and may Arthur’s life be a happy, productive and loving one!

Meet Kathy Clark aka Kathy Hurley, she is happily married to Chad Meredith Hurley, one of the guys behind YouTube and MixBit. Her hubby Chad could be facing some legal trouble right this instance! Reports indicate Kim K with hubby to be Kanye are suing the YouTube Co-Founder, for allegedly leaking their proposal video! Oh-oh

TMZ reports the 33-year-old reality TV star and the 36-year-old singer claimed that Hurley had signed a confidentiality agreement, which he reportedly broke by posting the video on his new site, MixBit, issuing a press release on the clip and also tweeting about it!

But let’s talk about more pleasant things and get to know Kathy! She is the daughter of another Silicon Valley entrepreneur and Netscape founder, Jim Clark. The low-key couple has two children. Kathy’s dad is a notable entrepreneur and computer scientist. Clark has been married four times. His fourth and current wife is Kristy Hinze, an Australian actress 36 years his junior. In 2011, the couple welcomed Chad Hurley’s half baby sister in law.

Kathy met Chad back in 2000 at a a friend’s birthday. When Chad worked as a designer for PayPal. Kathy has a bunch of incredibly accomplished internet entrepreneurs at her side huh! While at PayPal her hubby helped design the company’s logo but two years later PayPal gets bought out by eBay. Her husband as one of the founding staff of eBay gets to have a chuck of money to start his next venture; a site where people can easily share videos with their friends online. So Kathy was there from the beginning before all the craziness with YouTube broke out in 2005.

Unfortunately since her hubby became a huge success there is not much info on her and she is only described as either Jim Clark’s daughter or Chad’s wife! But apparently this is the way she likes it, Kathy is very private about her family life, and very little information is available regarding her family. On her hubby’s sites like, Facebook, Twitter there is not one picture of her or even on Google, nothing. But the explanation could be her hubby, a key Google stakeholder maybe ensuring her privacy.

Margaret Davidson Munzer- Billionaire hedge fund manager Daniel S. Loeb’s Wife

Margaret Munzer Loeb, a former yoga instructor and graduate of Brown and NYU’s School of Social Work, got to marry a billionaire! She married then-man-about-town Loeb in July 4, 2004. Her hubby is the founder and head of $13 billion hedge fund firm Third Point, is at the forefront of the activist investing wave that is storming financial markets.

She was born on July 22, 1972; the daughter of Patricia and Stephen I. Munzer of New York. According to her wedding announcement, her father is an associate in Munzer & Saunders, a New York law firm. Her mother occupations in Bridgewater Crossings, N.J., for Aventis, the French pharmaceuticals haver, for which she is the guide of media relations for the company’s United States operations.

Rabbi Heshy Blumstein officiated their ceremony at the bride and bridegroom’s beach house in East Hampton, N.Y. She was 31-year-old when she tied the knot. She graduated magna cum laude and followed up with her master’s degree in social occupation. They both were well into their years when they decided to get hitched, Loeb was 42-years-ol when he said “I do” He graduated from Columbia. His mother is a Melville scholar who writes under the name Clare L. Spark; she is the author of ”Hunting Captain Ahab,” (Kent State University Press, 2001). His father, who was until last year the general counsel at Williams-Sonoma, the cookware company based in San Francisco, is a corporate governance consultant in Santa Monica.

In their nearly 10-year-marriage they have already expanded and quickly became parents to their three children, daughters Satya and Ava and son Jacob Loeb. The couple collects contemporary art and are supports of Prep for Prep and Lincoln Center. In 2007, they sold their Bank Street townhouse for $12 million and bought a $45 million full-floor penthouse on Central Park. She has lived in New York, NY and Los Angeles, CA since her hubby hails from Santa Monica, California.

Melinda Milberg-Finance Exec David Milberg’s wife

Meet the wife of failed Lehman Brother’s former VP Melinda Milberg, she is also known as Melinda Milberg, Melinda B Milberg, Melinda B Thaler or Melinda D Milberg.

Thursday at Manhattan Supreme Court it was the turn for 50-year-old Melinda to take the stand in the assault trial she and her husband are battling. According to the New York Daily News, the couple who has been married for the past 16-years are going through a bitter divorce and where once was love and “museums, movies music concerts… ballet, opera,” is now left with animalistic grunts and bites?

According to the 50-year-old Melinda, her former Lehman Brothers vice president hubby threatened to kill her during a violent April 1 attack that took place at their upper West Side home. She testified earlier today:

“He let out an almost animalistic grunt and sunk his teeth into my flesh,” “He started to grind his teeth into my flesh and then he released his bite.”

Melinda Beth Thaler, the daughter of Sheldon Thaler of Princeton, N.J., and the late Beverly Casper Thaler was born on December 12, 1962. She graduated from Cornell University and received a law degree from George Washington University. Her father, who is retired, was a vice president of Geomed Inc., a medical products company in Middlesex, N.J., and an inventor holding 25 patents. Her mother was a social worker at Trenton Central High School.

She and her still husband David, met on a trip to Israel in 1994 and were soon in love, married in 1997 by Rabbi Robert I. Summers in the Pegasus Suite at the Rainbow Room in New York; they soon began a family and have a 14-year-old daughter together. She was 34-years-old when she said “I Do” to David Jonathan Milberg, and worked as a senior lawyer at the AT&T Corporation in New York. Her experience in commercial law includes working as an Associate at Crowell & Moring, from 1989 – 1992 and before that she was a Law clerk at Hon. Philip Nichols, Jr., U.S. Court of Appeals, Federal Circuit.

In 1994 she was co-author to “Mandatory Prediscovery Disclosure:  A First Look,”  and in 1996 she published “Operational Results of Federal Mandatory Prediscovery Disclosure Reform”

Nicole Nicki Dugan – Yahoo’s New Tech Columnist David Pogue’s

To talk about technology columnist for The New York Times, David Pogue’s new wife Nicole Dugan; who is his present and future if you will, we need to make a brief time travel to his past. Back in 2011 he and his former wife Jennifer were issued misdemeanor summonses after being charged with disorderly conduct. The couple were in the middle of a divorce and things got a little out of hand.

Jennifer and Pogue had three children together: son Kelly, daughter Tia, and son Jeffrey. The altercation took place at former couple’s home and it became a he said, she said battle. According to her she was struck on the head by David and he said she bit his harm after both were struggling to get an iPhone! Jennifer and former hubby had one of those messy situations and we all know how divorces can get emotional.

During a conference where David was a speaker at the time, ironically about domestic abuse, he was confronted with questions about the altercation but he dismiss them saying it wasn’t appropriate for the forum.

Now nearly two years later the tech guru, has found love again with his beautiful new wife Nicole Dugan. The couple tied the knot earlier this year. According to her Facebook, Nicki’s hometown is Kinnelon, New Jersey. She is currently the vice president at The OutCast agency in San Francisco, California.

After high school she attended  Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, graduating in 1989 with a BA in English. She also did a Summer study abroad program with University of New Hampshire in 1988. For three years she worked as a senior editor for Travel Holiday Magazine where she assigned and edited feature articles for national travel magazine; participated in planning of future issues. Collaborated on design and layouts with photo and art staff. She was also an editorial director at Sheila Donnelly & Associates then moved of to the director position at Niehaus Ryan Wong but her longest job position was at Yahoo! where she was Senior Director, Corporate Communications for nine years.

Ahrendts and Gregg, met in elementary school and had a 17-year long-distance relationship. Angela lived alone during those years in a fourth-floor midtown Manhattan walk-up, working 80 hours a week, while Gregg stayed in Indianapolis. After they married, in their 30s, Gregg moved to Manhattan and built a contracting business, which he gave up when they moved to London in 2006.

Jill Dilosa- Benjamin Moore’s Former CEO Bob Merritt’s Wife

Jill Dilosa has always been an independent woman. She was born in 1977.  At the age of fifteen, she left her parents house. She attended Tulane University. She took public transportation and shopped at discount stores while she amassed her fortune as a hedge fund analyst. “Even if you earn $1 million a year, you’ll be worth zero if you spend it all,” says DiLosa, who retired a millionaire at age 27.

In 2006, Jill was on the television show Wall Street Warriors, where she was known as the Analyst. She was on for only one season.

At some point, she married Robert S. Merritt who is presently 61. Tracy Britt, an exec at Benjamin Moore, was forced to fire her friend Jill’s husband as CEO of Benjamin Moore because it was alleged that he sexually harrassed female employees. Robert was formerly working for Outback Restaurants, where he served for a number of years in different capacities.

We don’t know where her friendship with Tracy is going to go from here, or for that matter, where her marriage is headed. But she seems to be a smart gal and it’s for sure she’ll figure it out.

Well, here’s the third of our proud winners of the Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine. Let me introduce him to you by giving you some interesting facts about his life.

#1. He’s not an American!

Thomas Sudhof was born in Gottingen, Germany on December 22, 1955.

#2. But he now lives in California

Thomas Sudhof moved to Texas in 1983, where he began postdoctorial training at the Universuty of Texas Health Science Center, in Dallas. He is currently working at Stanford University in Palo Alto, Ca.

#3. He is very well known (in the science world)

Thomas C. Südhof is a biochemist well known for his study of synaptic transmission. Since 1986, his research has elucidated many major proteins mediating presynaptic functions.

#4. He has won quite a few other awards

Fourteen to be exact. Among them the Lasker Award, Met Life Award, Bernhard Katz Award and Kavli Prize to name a few.

#5. He wasn’t home when the call came!

His wife, Lu answered the phone when the call came from Sweden. Thomas was in Baeza, Spain. Please listen to his reaction in the video below.

#6. Thomas has a very smart wife!

Lu Chen, an associate professor of neurosurgery at Stanford, is his wife.

#7. He is also working on a great project.

Thomas also serves on the Research Consortium of Cure Alzheimer’s.

#8.   We know where he lives!

We’re not going to give you an address, but we can say he and his wife live in Menlo Park.

#9. He’s doing good for humanity!

 He has also advanced medical knowledge of mechanisms behind poorly understood diseases such as Alzheimer’s, Schizophrenia, and Autism. His research began at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and advanced when he moved to Stanford.

#10. He is very humble.

When he heard that he had won he said “I’m absolutely surprised, every scientist dreams of this. I didn’t realize there was chance I would be awarded the prize. I am stunned and really happy to share the prize with James Rothman and Randy Schekman.”

He was born on November 3, 1950 in Haverhill, Massachusetts.

     He won the Lasker Award for Basic Medical Research in 2002, with Randy Schekman.

Rothman received his PhD at Harvard, in biological chemistry.

From 1978 to1988 he was a professor of bio-chemistry at Stanford.

He is the Director of Nanobiology Institute at Yale.

#8. His day job isn’t bad at all.

      He is currently Professor and Chairman in the Department of Cell Biology at Yale University.

Joan Templeman- Branson is Sir Richard Branson’s Wife

Let’s talk about Lady Branson or Joan Templeman. She became Mrs. Branson when she married her long time partner, Branson on December 20, 1989 at Necker Island, the 74-acre island in the British Virgin Islands that Branson owns. The couple’s first child, a girl named Clare Sarah died when she was just four days old in 1979. Then Joan gave birth to daughter Holly in 1982 and son Sam Branson in 1985.

Joan Templeman who was born in Glasgow was in a previous relationship before her magnate husband came along. She was the childhood sweetheart of musician Ronnie Leahy. The topless model and Ronnie Leahy developed a relationship in their native hometown. They met in 1966 and Joan watched proudly as Ronnie’s first band, Stone The Crows, started to hit the big time. They married and moved to London where for the next 12 years Ronnie believed they had the perfect marriage.

They were married 12 or 13 years and having lots of fun until Sir Richard came along, according to Ronnie. Branson allegedly fell head over heals when he first stumbled into Joan in the kitchen of his Oxford shire recording complex in Shipton-on-Cherwell. Branson who pursued her immediately would show up while she worked at a shop near London’s trendy Portobello Road which sold Victorian posters and antiques. He even earned the nickname Tag, for his habit of asking if he could tag along with friends who were meeting Joan.

Joan is the daughter of a ship’s carpenter and grew up sharing a bed with six siblings but that didn’t stop her on becoming confident and chatty. Joan was unimpressed by his public school education and the millions he already had in the bank. And she certainly wasn’t interested in his pranks and business ventures but his relentless pursuit and flattery won Joan over he would swamp her with invitations while her husband while Ronnie would work next door in the studio. It was late in 1978 when she left Ronnie for Branson.

The couple returned to England and settled down to life on his houseboat in London’s Little Venice. Branson calls her

“fantastically adorable,” adding, “With Joan, I was searching for someone down-to-earth.”

They married after twelve years and two children together after allegedly his daughter Holly asked him to. Joan probably has mixed emotions on the reopening of the massive Necker Island mansion which burned down two years ago. After all is where the 68-year-old and mother of two tied the knot!

Livia Stone- Twitter’s co-founder Biz Stone’s Wife

Livia Stone, wife of co-founder of twitter Biz Stone, is also a writer and an artist. Her maiden name is Livia McRee. Her dad is from Nashville and her mother is from Istanbul. She and Biz met when Biz was designing book covers at Little, Brown publishing on Beacon Hill in Boston. She was working downstairs in production and helping with the children’s department. When she walked into the art department to drop something off, he noticed her, and fell in love.

He and Livy got married in the summer of 2007. At first they were going to elope, but friends and family insisted on a beautiful wedding by the sea at the Stanford Inn in Mendocino.

After marriage, Livia wasn’t really happy with doing just writing and painting, so she began volunteering at different environmental and animal welfare organizations in the Bay Area.  She finally ended up at Wild Care which is dedicated to the rehabilitation of wildlife.  She took classes on the science, and was soon asked to become the manager of animal care. Biz was asked to be an honorary member of the board of directors. They are both committed to this cause.

Biz and Livia live in Marin County, California with their son Jacob, who is almost two. He and his wife founded and operate the Biz and Livia Stone Foundation, which supports education and conservation in California. They are both vegan, and have adopted many animals both in California and New York. This lucky couple seems to be enjoying their jobs, their charities, and above all their life as a family.
