Meet Eugenia Citkowitz! she is the second wife of actor Julian Sands, famous for his roles in films like Warlock, The Killing Fields, The Medallion, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo and Jor-El in Smallville. The 65 year old actor went missing while he was hiking in Mount Baldy,  the San Gabriel Mountains on January 13, 2023; police recovered human remains near the area on June 24, 2023 and confirmed the remains were those of Julian Sands three days later.

“The identification process for the body located on Mt. Baldy on June 24, 2023, has been completed and was positively identified as 65-year-old Julian Sands of North Hollywood,” the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department said in a statement. “The manner of death is still under investigation, pending further test results. We would like to extend our gratitude to all the volunteers that worked tirelessly to locate Mr. Sands.”

Julian Sands is a talented British actor, best known for his notable work in both film and television. He was born as Julian Richard Morley Sands on January 4, 1958, in Otley, West Riding of Yorkshire. Sands began his acting career appearing in supporting roles in films like Oxford Blues (1984) and The Killing Fields (1984). He also had a cameo role as a Greek soldier in the BBC adaptation of The Box of Delights in 1984. In the year 1985, he was cast as the romantic lead in the film A Room with a View, which became commercially successful.

Following the success of A Room with a View and Ken Russell’s Gothic (1986), Sands decided to move to Hollywood to pursue a career in American films. He appeared in several lower-tier and higher-budget films, including the title role in Warlock (1989) and its sequel Warlock: The Armageddon (1993), Franz Liszt in Impromptu (1991), Yves Cloquet in Naked Lunch (1991), and roles in Arachnophobia (1990), Boxing Helena (1993), and Leaving Las Vegas (1995). He played the Doci of the Ori in two episodes of Stargate SG-1—in its ninth and tenth seasons (a role he reprised in the film, Stargate: The Ark of Truth). Sands portrayed Austrian ambassador Klemens von Metternich in the 2002 miniseries Napoleon. In the 2006 season of 24, he played terrorist Vladimir Bierko.

He also portrayed Jor-El, Superman’s biological father, on Smallville, and reprised the role in the series’ final (tenth) season. Sands appeared in the mystery thriller film The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo in 2011 as Henrik Vanger. In 2012, he voiced the character of DeFalco in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 and played Alistair Wesley in the seventh episode of the second season of Person of Interest.

In addition to his film and television work, Sands has showcased his skills in stage productions too. Madison Maddie Russo is the 19-year-old TikToker charged in GoFundMe cancer scam taking over $37,000 from hundred of donors who believed her when she told them she was battling pancreatic cancer and a tumor the size of a football wrapped around her spine; she is now facing a charge of theft employing deception.

In October 2022, Madison Maddoe Russo claimed she was diagnosed with leukemia, stage 2 pancreatic cancer and a tumor, the size of a football, that wrapped around her spine on February 10, 2022. Madison Russo added that doctors gave her an 11% survival rate for five years, but that changed after they allegedly discovered the enormous tumor on her spine, which she was told was inoperable.

It was early in the morning, and I had been anxiously awaiting these test results. My phone rang, and it said, ‘Iowa City Oncology.’ I stepped out of the classroom and took the call.

I was terrified, and I definitely still am. I was in shock. I didn’t think it could be true. I’m so young, and I wondered how this could happen. I went through all the emotions, and I was pretty numb.

I remember hanging up the phone, and I was a mess,” she told the Iowa news outlet last fall. “I was literally bawling, but somehow I ended up getting the courage to wipe away my tears and went back into class, which now, when I think about it, was pretty crazy.”

According to Fox News “She said in an interview with the North Scott Press on Oct. 18 that she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer on Feb. 10, 2022, and with leukemia a few months later. She said doctors gave her a “slim 11% survival rate for five years” before discovering the spinal tumor. Russo said she still attended classes at St. Ambrose University, maintained a high GPA and interned at John Deere despite her claims of medical issues.”

“We can confirm the person in question has had no contact with the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation and has never spoken at any of our events,” a spokesperson for the charity said, according to Fox News.
